The year 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the first community foundation in the U.S. The goal of our Centennial Microsite is to share what we have learned in more than 35 years of supporting the field, offer key insights, and highlight our legacy of partnering with community foundations in a way that advances the vital work they do to strengthen their communities.

We hope this site will be a timely and helpful resource for those who work across the spectrum of the community foundation field. Fellow funders, philanthropy support organizations, community foundation associations, scholars, evaluators, communicators and many others may find this resource especially useful a we take stock of all that has been accomplished in the previous century and move forward to the next.
